First, I would like to say that I started getting interested in Warhammer 40k lore a few months ago and I wanted to start assembling and painting miniatures. I am looking more into the hobby side of things, because I don't think anyone in my area knows about wargaming.
My favourite chapters are Grey Knights, Legion of the Damned, Blood Ravens, maybe Salamanders and Alpha Legion. I also like Necrons, but my absolute favourite army are Grey Knights.

A few days ago, I got a box of Grey Knight Termies, who are my favourite units in the game probably and I like how they ended up (will post pictures later) and I am thinking of continuing collecting some miniatures in the future, but I want them to have some consistency as an army (wouldn't want buying 10 boxes of Termies only), in case I ever end up playing a game with them (as I said, that would be very rare, which means I don't want to buy a codex right now, but I will later, for its fluff).
So, can you help me with this list I thought of:

Battalion detachment (around 1500 points if I had to guess):

HQs
Librarian in Terminator armor (I know this guy is supposed to be really good and I would give him a Warding stave I kept from the Termie box)
Kaldor Draigo / Brother Captain Stern (this is where I need help choosing)

Troops
5 man squad Termies with 3 Halberds, 1 Daemonhammer, 1 pair of Falchions (was going to make full halberd, but I decided to add some other weapon instead) and 1 Psycannon
5 man Strike Squad (either Swords or Falchions and I haven't decided about heavy weapons)
5 man Strike Squad (either Swords or Falchions and I haven't decided about heavy weapons)

Elites
5 man Purifier squad (I know they might be worse in 8th edition, but I really want them in my army and I know they benefit from Brother Captains) (haven't decided again on how to equip them, but they will most likely have 2 heavy incinerators)
1 Venerable Dreadnought (again, I want this model in an army, but I haven't decided on equipment and it can be omitted)

Heavy support
1 Dreadknight (he will have teleporter, sword and a heavy weapon that I haven't thought of yet)

Transport
Rhino / Razorback (whatever helps more with the Purifiers I guess, since they might be better to do "drive by"s)

I was starting to wonder if I should post it elsewhere, but I thought that I had to have a more complete idea to post in that category (like, I haven't even decided yet on some units' loadouts, so the points can be a bit random).
