After lurking for some time I've decided to finally join Dakka. I got into Warhammer 40k when a friend bought me the Start Collecting Eldar for Christmas last year, and since then I've inspired another friend to pick up his old Dark Eldar and start playing again. So far I've really only played against the two of them and another player, which means I've only played against Dark Eldar, Space Marines and Imperial Guard. There are many more players locally though, so I'm sure I'll be playing against other armies soon enough.

I've been reading a lot in the tactics section, even as a lurker. I'm checking out army lists too, but the most important thing for me is to play what I like and what fits with the fluff I invented for my craftworld, and that may not always be the "optimal" choice.
