Not necessarily pure DG but a Predator kitted out with quad lascannons can really pack a punch. I've used one in almost every game of 8th and it's always claimed back far more than it's points (which is actually quite cheap)

Blightlords are good distraction units and are surprisingly very tough to kill. Putrifier combos nicely with big blobs of plague marine units using the Blight Bombardment strat. Definitely bring in a Daemon Prince. The plastic kit is fine. Proper Nurgle paint scheme will be enough.

I think Daemons might be a nice add on. Plague Drones are fast and tough, good tarpits, they replaced Spawn as HQ escort IMO. The Start Collecting Nurgle box is a great buy.
