Too high. I don't follow how well most boardgame KSs go, but the ones I hear about doing crazy well seem to have a lot of plastic bling. This looks like it would appeal to a more mature audience so I don't know if they're going to be enough out there to hit that target. That and it is a company with no previous KS projects. Was just gonna say the same. The game seems fantastic, but postage plus import duties are too much to make this worth looking at.

Not only that, but shipment to "Elsewhere" is a locked stretch goal for some insane reason. Which means that even if the game is successfully backed, but not sufficiently for the shipment option to be unlocked, if you're living "elsewhere", you will not receive your game. Unless I'm mistaken.

From the looks of it, this box may be as big as Kingdom Death. How much was international shipping on that?

And it's not just the oversized mat you get for $99, but also some old school pusher sticks.

Most US-based Kickstarters these days use middlemen companies based in the other territories. They then ship the relevant number of items from the manufacturers direct to those companies, who in turn forward them on to the customer, rather than shipping to themselves in the US and then shipping out again to the destination. I don't get why they'd do that. It's not more expensive to ship a package to Norway or Switzerland, than sending it to Malta or Romania. It's not like I live on an island in the South Pacific, but if I did, I would be treated the same way as I am now.

Why couldn't they just write "Europe" and not "EU"? Are they really so ignorant that they don't know or care that some European countries aren't EU-members?

Hello everyone. The kickstarter is in it's last 32 hours. Just fair warning. I bet this will go into mass production, but I am not gonna bet the farm. I love this guy's rules. He made my favorite childhood game.

I feel pretty stoked to have got the signature edition /brag_end>

This is only the 2nd Kickstarter I have ever backed, and I think that WW2 enthusiasts, especially A&A enthusiasts will be bummed if they miss it.

I am really looking forward to this one!
