So it's been a while. I've read but not played about half of the editions between then and now, and 8th edition does a lot of the things that I wanted to see after 2nd (keep movement, lose templates, unify vehicle & mc profiles, stuff like that). I had actually started toying with building an army in 7th late last year, so I'm preeeeeeeeety sure 8th edition came out because of me (otherwise I wouldn't have had to snap all of those chainswords off of my CSM backpacks).
