				<description><![CDATA[ <br /> <br /> <br /> List with a Broodlord and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(663);'>OOE</span> so I used a lot of Genestealers and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> Carnifexes. <br /> Decided to go with this to try out Kraken Fleet, these units really benefit from Running faster, not being able to bog them down is nice too so Kraken is awesome for them.<br /> I'm getting a super tough Warlord in the form of a shooty Flyrant thanks to the great Kraken Relic + Warlord Trait.<br /> <br /> <b>Kraken Supreme Commander Detachment</b><br /> <br /> 209pts - Hive Tyrant - Adaptive Biology (Warlord) - Chameleonic Mutation (Relic) - Wings - PPT - 2x Devourer BLW - 1x Heavy Venom Cannon - Spells: Catalyst/The Horror<br /> 90pts - Malanthrope -<br /> 90pts - Malanthrope -<br /> <br /> <b>Kraken Battalion Detachment</b><br /> <br /> 162pts - Broodlord - Onslaught spell (to cast on Hive Guards. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(663);'>OOE</span> and Flyrant)<br /> 200pts - Old One Eye<br /> <br /> 204pts - 17x Genestealer - 4x have Acid maw - All have Scything Talons<br /> 204pts - 17x Genestealer - 4x have Acid maw - All have Scything Talons<br /> 204pts - 17x Genestealer - 4x have Acid maw - All have Scything Talons<br /> <br /> 349pts - 3x Stone Crusher Carnifex - 2x with Double Wrecker Claws, 1x with Bio-flail/Wrecker Claw - all have Thresher Scythe - all have Bio Plasma<br /> 288pts - 6x Hive guard - Impaler Cannons <br /> <br /> <b>2000pts Total - 7CP - 10 Deployment</b><br /> <br /> So a full unit of Hive guards for the "double shoot" Stratagem at max power cause I need a bit of shooting to pop transport if needed.<br /> Onslaught will allow them to keep up with the army if needed.<br /> Lots of Shrouding with 2 Malanthrope who will maybe be able to unlock their "Prey Adaptation" skill due to running forward with the maneuverable close combat army for some nice almost army-wide reroll "1"s to hit.   <br /> 51 Genestealers is a lot and they move fast!!! Averaging 13", (12" for Fexes, not bad big guys) <br /> Shrouding, Invulnerable, T4 and potential Cover Save makes them decently tough. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 9px; line-height: normal;">Automatically Appended Next Post:</span><br /> I just thought about the idea of having The Swarmlord in this list to slingshot Units of Genestealers forward with a Catalyst spell on them.<br /> <br /> <br /> By removing the Hive guard unit and one Genestealer I can fit him in (bringing me down to exactly 50 Genestealers). Swarmlord is a nice beasty and can carry a game with all his support and close combat.<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Malanthropes are up to 140 pts in chapter approved so I would drop one and then beef up your stealer units with a few models ith your extra points. You're not going to be able to do 2 malanthropes for 280 pts.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Yeah... I saw that leak, Im hoping there is something that was just forgotten to be mentionned like the Malanthropes Aura got increased to 9" or at least 6". <br /> <br /> if the Malanthrope gets a 50pts increase with no upgrade to compensate as the rumors seems to confirm then they become completely obsolete. <br /> 3" shrouding range is already very restrictive for 90pts... I will never pay 140pts for the current Malanthropes stats, it was not an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(280);'>OP</span> and certainly didnt deserve a massive nerf.<br /> Venomthropes were just barely under malanthropes before so Im just gonna forget about Malanthropes and go with Venomthropes.<br /> <br /> I guess they wanted the Venomthropes to be more popular so instead of making them better they just nerfed the competition to the point of making it not an option (Dick-move <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>GW</span>) so if you want shrouding you go with venomthropes.<br /> <br /> As luck would have it the price of 2 Malanthropes (180pts) is exactly the price of a full venomthropes units of 6.<br /> This will provide an incredibly larger footprint area of the shrouding than the 2 Malanthropes which is a nice compensation for the vulnerability that Venoms have over Malan. <br />  <br /> This works very well in this list because if he shoots the Venomthropes than he isnt shooting at the genestealers and taking out 6 Venomthropes isnt that easy.<br /> Sure he can take out 3 Venomthropes and then start aiming at my Fexes and Tyrant but there isnt much I can do against that. a single Malanthropes would never procure the coverage required for this army so a single Malanthrope would not be an option. <br /> ]]></description>
