				<description><![CDATA[ Give Titans the following rule:<br /> <br /> Titanic Engineering: When determining if an attacker wounds the Titan in a ranged or close combat attack, the result necessary to wound the Titan is determined as if the Titan's toughness value on the To Wound table is one rank higher to a maximum of 6+. Example: if a lascannon needed a 3+ to wound, it would now need a 4+.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ No, that would make titan hunting weapons totally pointless, or grossly too good vs non-titans.<br /> <br /> The vast majority of weaponry is wounding a titan on a 6+ unless it's especially tuned to hurt big stuff, in which case it should be able to hurt big stuff.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'd rather see more single shot high damage weapons being used. Currently, they are all but useless in a game where volume of fire reigns over quality of fire. In practically any case, someone would rather have 10 S5 1 damage shots over 1 S10 10 damage shot. I know it's an extreme example but anything to help shift the reign of volume. ]]></description>

Even a 3+ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>bs</span> is only a 2/3 chance to hit. 2 shots at <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>bs</span> 3 is vastly better then 1. This gap gets vastly worse at <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>bs</span> 4+ .... 5+ etc etc. <br /> <br /> This will never change while the platforms that wield the weapons cannot reliably hit. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Personally I'd rather see the end of the Macro weapon type, those weapons tend to have huge amounts of damage output to start with and doubling the damage against Titanic units can get obsured. It doesn't help that outside of the Imperium/Chaos there's only about 6 weapons in total that have it.]]></description>

Anything that is titanic (not limited to Knights,Wraithknights,Daemon Lords,Eldar Titans, Supremacy armours, Stompa's and Pylons/Obelisk)<br /> <br /> Would have a REALLY bad time (Think Macro <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(24);'>D6</span> S 25 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>Ap</span> -5  24dmg hits not fine) ]]></description>

I know it's an extreme example but anything to help shift the reign of volume. </div></blockquote><br /> <br /> That is only because the S 5 shots are good against 1 wound models and 10 wound models.  <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span> also matters S5 D 1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>Ap</span> 0 would not be as good against many targets as S10 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(342);'>D10</span>, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span> -5.  The other issue is often cost.  That S10 gun is going to be like 65 points and the S5 gun will be 25.<br /> <br /> This edition has put a premium on shots because they are good against all targets, and reinforces it by making multiple damage high strength very expensive.  It is one of the reasons Plasma is the weapon of choice, it is good against basically all targets.<br /> <br /> Of note your proposed rule doesn't really fix this.  If my high strength 1 shot weapon wounds less easily in addition to hitting less easily it only make that weapon worse.  ]]></description>
