dimensions of a stormtalon?

As per the subject. How big are they?

Height?
width
length

I have a fun conversion idea that I want to get at least semi close to the correct size.

Found a mostly intact Apache attack copter toy at goodwill. The cockpit is just wide enough for pilots! $.50 = conversion fodder!

ender502

Stormtalons are tiny.
About 6" nose to tail.

1:48 Apache kits are almost perfect size for 40k stuff. We used them back in the late 80s and early 90s for gunship builds. Before GW made any kind of plastic (or resin) flier kits.

Re:dimensions of a stormtalon?

Thanks. That should be enough to go on. I'm cutting down the tail and a bit of the body. It'll still be a bit long but it should be functional. I'll post pics when I get a chance.

ender502

Automatically Appended Next Post:
hmmm...just measured. I am looking at around 9 inches for my conversion. I need to do some thinking on how to make that a bit smaller.
