But really, washes are part of the painting process and Typhus is, more or less, weathering, which one would generally do after completing painting, unless there's a specific reason to do things in a different order. Carroburg Crimson. Pooling up along the inside edges. Then using a watered down Chestnut gw ink use it to shade the brass edging.
