Now I’ve been using the Chaos Black spray for most of my models.

If I change to a Grey undercoat spray does that affect the color outcome of my models?
I’m thinking of painting the default color scheme of Militarum tempestus scions for a friend and was wondering if using grey undercoat will make the model brighter compared to using black spray.

This can mean that some colours will look more vibrant as they can be painted over grey more easily. The tone of the miniature is definitenly likely to be lighter overall as well.
