So I'm about to finish my Squat Tanks/Artillary from Ramshackle games....16 of them counting carriages.

I have a bone colored Dark Eldar
Red base Craftworld
Maroon base Marines
Bone and Purple Nids
Blue and tan PDF
Primary color Harlequins
Brown/earthy Exodites

Everyone paints squats brown.
I like Grey or white but so hard to do. At this point I'm looking for table ready paint,,,just not slapped on. I don't have the time to improve much on my skills.
I like Black, but squats look small as it is.
I love Imperial Fists and Iyanden (want to purchase both some day)

The problem with Grey, Most armies still looked like a primer even when done excellent....there is no 'pop'
Black seems too easy and I'm not sure how to make it look wow...see below.
I don't have a green army but seems wrong for Squats .....????

My leading idea at the moment is to

Base in a Dark Blue
cover most in a black and maybe a couple layers of black too....so just a hint of blue may still show.
Then drybrush all the details and edges in a medium electric blue.
I want to add a lot of yellow caution stripes.
ofc then I have the bikers and carapace armor guys to paint to.

This seems the easiest of all.

Any ideas for Green or another good choice.
