Personally I believe this means using only one of its guns, the flamer of the ion gun, but some people I've encountered think the ambiguous wording allows for both guns to be fired using their novacharge profile.

This would honestly seem a bit overpowered to me. "A weapon's" is very ambiguous to me. One weapon or any weapon, that would be unambiguous.
