Stacking VotLW and FoK for optimal overkill

I came across this and needed some help in understanding how these stratagems would work in conjunction.
The first is the Veterans of the Long war and the second is the Fury of Khorne. My question is if they stack or not. As the VotLW starts in the Fight phase when you select that unit to attack, they all gain +1 to wound rolls until the end of that phase. THEN Fury of Khorne states that at the end of the fight phase you can select a Khorne unit to fight again.

My question is does this additional fight dice take place in the same fight phase, meaning the previous stratagem would still be in effect, or does it create another sub phase in which the +1 to wound is no longer in play?
The wording for Vets says it last until the end of the Fight Phase and Fury says it is used at the end of the Fight Phase. So does the Fight phase end and a sub fight phase begin? Or does it just happen at the end of it and simply extend it?
I'm not sure if this happens after you consolidate and right before you check morale?

Help me out as I haven't played in years and this is a puzzle that literally has no bearing on my army really, but was curious as to how it resolves. Thanks in advance.

I should add that this would possibly work for Endless Cacophany as well...

There is literally no other place for it to happen. Fighting Again doesn't make some sort of magical sub-phase, you just fight again, going through steps 5.1 to 5.6 of the Core Rules as you would any other unit.
