I know about ebay, but there isn't much cheap there, same as from the official packs. And Aliexpress only seems to have large flying bases and circular bases for sale.

I'd recommend hitting up the equivalent hobby/craft store and scour the wood craft section

MDF Bases, apart from when someone one wants a resin cast base or specific job. Grab them in bags of 100.

Easy enough to find on eBay, and they are cheap enough. depending on if you are UK or USA based but a search will find you a company.
