1) Has anyone ever seen Steel Legion mini's head swapped to make Tallarn style plasma gunners. Just ordered some Maxmini Desert heads to swap some Cadians out. ATM its very hard to find the Tallarn mini's on their own.

2) If I have PVC (cheapo Elmers) glued sand onto each base, what is the best way to seal it so it doesn't flake? Paint it? Some sort of sealant?

The dish liquid is to lower the surface tension so that instead of just sitting on top of the sand, the glue slurry flows into and around all the little air spaces and when it dries, it locks it ALL together into one piece.

Takes a few days for the base to dry out again properly but it's worth the wait.
