Unlike Chainswords you don't get multiple bonus attacks for having multiples. Whether you have 1 or 16 Boneswords you still only get 1 bonus attack.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ “A Hive Tyrant may replace both pairs of monstrous scything talons with two items from the Monstrous Bio-cannons or two items from the Monstrous Bio-weapons list, or with one item from each list.”<br /> <br /> Monstrous Boneswords is listed as a single item in the Monstrous Bio-weapons list.  So, if I can choose two items from the Monstrous Bio-weapons lost, I should be able to take two “Monstrous Boneswords” (meaning two sets of two for a total of four).<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(215);'>SG</span>]]></description>

It might take up two arms on the model, but it's still 1 weapon system. You're limited to two weapon choices, period. You start with two Pairs of Monstrous Scything Talons (which are technically 4 weapons, true) but you must swap them out as pairs for other weapons.<br /> <br /> And like I said, even if you could do it, it would simply be a waste of points because you don't get any extra attacks from it.<br /> <br /> Think of it like swapping a pair of Bolt Pistols for a Lascannon. You don't get 2 Lascannons just because you had 2 Bolt Pistols.]]></description>

Regardless of how you model them, "Boneswords" is a single weapon that needs you to swap a pair of talons out for. But as I said, waste of points regardless because you don't get more than 1 bonus attack.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Yeah and the crucial point here is - unless the weapon specifically says it - you don't get bonus attacks for have multiples of a weapon.<br /> <br /> Also - the flying hive tyrant can still take 2 selections from the wargear section even though it's wings on the model technically take up the space for a pair of arms. ]]></description>

For example, not allowing two boneswords to be taken because they provide no benefit, giving some models free chainswords by default and not including Daemons in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> entries despite the Daemon and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> daemons being subtly different.]]></description>

Seems you approach things there much as you do here. No wonder they haven't much time for your input.<br /> <br /> It does seem odd to not allow this combo but it has no in-game benefit so I can see why people volunteering their time might not consider it a top of their to-do list fix. You can always add up your own points on a quick spreadsheet if BattleScribe won't let you make the build you want.]]></description>

Not my catalog but I'll give the tyranid maintainer a poke and raise an issue.<br /> <br /> edit: And just like that, hey, its fixed! (and will be out with the next release)   To anyone else reading the thread, suggesting selection method changes IS a thing you can bug report, but won't always be possible.]]></description>
