I would imagine a filthy guy such as He would have some pretty dirty mud crusted boots, but I haven't really seen any tutorials for it. Is Typhus Corrosion a good application, or is Devlan Mud?

Any help or tutorials on this? I imagine certain Assault Marines or running figure tutorials would contain tips on this small detail.

Also, second question is, color of Soles? Most tutorials have the bottom of his feet the same green as all other plating, but is that the case for all Space Marines? I would imagine a neutral grey or black magnetic sole or something...
