Looking for terrain bits useful for Forgeworld

I mean for making a Forgeworld like terrain set for a full table. I have all the GW stuff pretty much, what I'm specifically looking for is more for the scratchbuilding aspect. Especially flooring.

What I'm doing right now is trying to cast pieces, trying to get the look I want, using greenstuff tubes, window screen mesh, plasticard for rivets etc and so on. I could use some more bits to add some variety, maybe hatches, or something. I'm not sure. I'm kinda looking for inspiration atm too.

Most everything I've seen is MDF, which I don't want. Hirst arts comes to mind, but I'm not wanting to cast in dental plaster, especially for upper levels, as I don't want that much weight.

Not looking for recasters or what not, just if anyone has perhaps a link to some more industrial ideas/terrain/bits I've not already explored, that'd be awesome =D

Thanks for any ideas!

You’re better off buying a few 6x4 gaming mats from gamemat.eu, frontline gaming, though I hate their printed logo on the corner; then get some terrain and spread across the battlefield, it saves you on storing space as you can roll up the mats, save your dice and models from wabble and crook syndrome, visually satisfying.

I've done a bunch of industrial type terrain for Necromunda using foamed PVC. Maybe something of use there?

You can easily add doors with a bit of plasticard and a bent bit of wire as a handle. Heavy duty hatches might need something a.bit more robust.
