Not quite Tamiya levels of madness. Individually mounted independent track links and suspension.

There were longer track pieces (multiple links) as well as single track links. The idea was that certain of the longer pieces went in certain areas, and the singles were used to "wrap" around the "corners" (5 points on each track unit).
The longest run went on the bottom, the next 2 longest were top and back angle run, then there were shorter pieces for the front slopes.

But you had to sandwich the wheels and rollers into the track unit sides as well.

Ugh... A lot of my Russ's came from second hand sources, i would have to rip all the tracks off and relay them, nightmare! And sometimes the aforementioned dreaded gap would still occur but i could usually get it located on the underside where it wouldn't be noticeable. Though if you kit has the the accessory sprue and you use the track guards on your tank you're sorted coz you won't even have to glue the tracks the whole way round!
