Do scout and scout bike use different torsos?

Looking at images - it seems like scout biker arms attach way further back onto the "backpack" portion of the torso. Are scout bike arms just improperly sized or do scouts and scout bikes use different torsos?

The basic scout kit looks to have grooves to help line things up, and they do seem to default to a bit farther forward, but I think the toros look to be the same size. If you cut the guides off, you can use the biker arms. I’m using spare biker arms currently with no problems

Besides the mold-line ridden, soft detail problems inherent with the basic scout kit.

I see. What I'm concerned with is whether it's the torso or the arm that overly accentuates scout's already 'hunchback' look when building a scout bike.

Judging from what you've told me, it looks like I'll need to convert the arms a bit shorter to reduce the hunchback. Do you have any photos of scouts & bikes I can use as a reference? Most of the photos on the web only show them in their 'money angle' and not fully showing the problematic areas...

I think the bikes tend to encourage the arms to be set a bit farther back, but that might just be my shoddy assembly from back in the day. Hard to tell without both kits in bits in front of me.
