Would the new nighthaunt models make a good alternative to tzaangors for a thousand sons army?

The new soul wars release (https://www.warhammer-community.com/2018/06/05/soul-wars-announced/) seems like it could be useful for TS players who aren't overly fond of beastmen. There is now a mess of ghostly units that look like they could fill out the tzaangor half of a TS army. Just paint them fully ethereal to make them look like a sorcerer has summoned some forbidden knowledge style help for his legion.

I think the following models would make good proxies:
Morghast daemon prince (not a tzaangor unit but goes well with the theme of resurrection)
Guardian of souls as a tzaangor shaman
Chainrasps as tzaangors (Cqc loadout)
Grimghast reapers as enlightened
Myrmourn banshees as skyfires - confer to hold bows or think like VC and say the scream is the ranged attack

Thoughts?

As a fan of the Space Wolves, and Imperium in general, I think it would be an awesome idea. The creatures of the warp are supposed to be malleable and look... odd. Otherwise how would they have managed to work alongside the 1k sons as "familiars"? As long as your opponent is cool with it you should be fine.
