The 8th edition rules have quite a few OOP units in them, to support people who bought those kits when they were available. I did so regarding the Iron Hands Contemptor Dreadnought which is out of production, and they gave me a straight answer. They said they have no current plans to bring it back. My guess is the molds got too messed up and they didn't sell enough to justify updating them. I doubt it. The stuff that goes OOP tends to be niche-market products even in a niche market of FW within the niche market of miniatures as a whole. I can't think of any of the OOP kits recently where I've been surprised too much, it's all been things I would expect to have very low sales volume.
