Paint BB numbers?

So my BB team is done. Buuuut, how do I put numbers on the armour? I have some tranfera from the elfheim eagles sett. But is doing it with a brush better? I am also unsure of colour.

Colour of numbers will depend on the colour you've painted the team members. You want a high contrast (which is usually white) but on very bright colours (yellow/white) you will want black.

Best way to apply numbers (if black) is with a Pigma Micron pen https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Pigma-POXSDK6-Micron-6-Fineliners/dp/B004AQODNU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1531848180&sr=8-3&keywords=pigma+micron

Link is just for example, usually they're cheaper on ebay and can be bought singularly.

If using white numbers then using the decals is probably the best way (unless you have a very steady hand and good brush control).

Paint BB numbers?

On 2 or 3 models, the way I have posed them there is no surface to write the number on the front side. Only the backside.

The idea of the micropen is good.

How does the micropen work with GW's spraycan of miniature sealing?

Also, can I add flock to the model before I seal, or do I need to do it afterwards?

The micropen works great with any varnish, brush or spray, just make sure you allow the ink to dry (doesn't take long tbh). I've used it on a lot of miniatures (no pics I'm afraid). Personally I went for a Pigma Micron 005 (0.20mm nib).

Flocking can be done before or after varnishing but if you mean static grass then applying after varnish/sealing tends to be the way to go as varnish can cause the static grass to flatten.

I have also found it's generally easier to see and deal with a decal on the rim of the base instead of the model.
