Kinda all spells itself out, really.

Logan and his TWC and pupps seek to break through the lines where they're weakest, the IG are capable of pushing out and punishing what's vulnerable to mass fire, and the dreadnoughts play deadly cat-and-mouse, especially tailing the Star as they'll have reroll 1's to wound within 6" of Canis (perhaps best left to Bjorn, as he's a monster in combat. I kill knights every chance I get, and yea, i'm doing some 90%+ in 8th xD)

List ends up having 8 CP's (5 -1 + 1 + 3)

You get an extra Leman Rush Punisher in there, and a second unit of Thunderwolves with a different loadout moved more towards hunting heavier foes. Harald Deathwolf has a natural outflank if needed, and also lets nearby Cyberwolves and Fen Wolves use his leadership, mitigating thier poor leadership value.

Also, split the Aquila and the warlord between the two IG commands. You dont want it to be easy to snipe out a character and lose both abilities in one turn.

Garrier, i *really* do like your list!

To be honest, as much as I like the *idea* of Grimnar, I've never liked his actual Roster/values. He almost steals some of the glory from Bjorn xD

What he represents to me is that crushing punch that hits where their lines are opening or weakening as they send forces forwards to take objectives, or push face. No list has a 100% perfectly elastic line without having loaded points into just that (Which means what, you hug the enemy to death?).

What I'm seeking - is to have enough ammo with enough punch to knock out the slews of hordes out there.

- to have enough models to absorb the attrition over time, but not be bound to having an absurd amount of models!
[I just played a 50PL tourney yesterday, the list was Bjorn, Mortis, double punisher (heavy), wolf scouts (3 snipe/camo, 2 TH), and 3 dogs (outrider). Lol was fun - but to the point, was easy to manage. My turn is done after a minute of shifting things.]
The Chimera laden las-jockies will be in their transport til likely it blows up, unless terrain offers better options. (a little over a dozen models on my list, but the list provided is very delicious (in how you fit it all in, NEAT!) totaling 16 models plus the tenpack of dawgs, as deployed. That's absolutely doable in that regard.

I keep hearing about a 3rd Leman Russ being better, fine lol, Ima try it out and see what people have found

Curious about the Heavy Bolters being swapped to Multi-Lasers, I too had Multi-Laser going on but my IG friend said they just don't deliver in 8th - that S6 w/o AP isn't really much, kinda stuck right in between a useful profile.

8 Thunderwolves + 10 Dogs + 3 Las-Jockey Chimeras + Bjorn runnin around behind, it's nice.

I do feel tho that this silly Contemptor Mortis is just sooo good at creating a 48" zone of death, that I just gotta keep'm. It's a bit price heavy, but he does SUCH work. In every turn, I always get looks haha from the 4 red dice and 2 blue dice representing potentially 36 damage in one roll, an average being near a dozen or more. Feels like Bjorn does in CC, but at 48". However, I don't have strong feelings for sir Harald tho, I'm thinking I'll remain with Canis - and find a few points somewhere for the Mortis.

By pulling the Astropath, Harald, and the Tracks off it comes to average out to fit the Mortis in, stuff that's essentially superficial. What do you think? I definitely respect your taste xD

and yea, splitting the IG wargear is just the thing to do.

Alpharius Walks — GMT

If you drop the Leman track guards as an example you can run them as the FW Chimera and get the twin heavy bolter turret. I imagine you would not use the Astropath stave much either and swapping that to a laspistol will get you 6 points back.

I like your new list too! Mostly quick moving mech list, with a lot of anti horde firepower and some anti-tank in there.

I agree with you that the idea of Logan is great, but at his current points level it is just not worth it to run him at all. Not when others bring more to the table as is.

Most of my list was designed around yours to be honest, but some things got left in by mistake (Multi-Lasers etc). The beauty of taking 3 Leman Russes is that if played right they keep your tank commander safe and force your opponent to utterly destroy them before they can start getting some good shots in. Plus with 3 Chimeras also shielding them, along with Bjorn and some Thunderwolves stomping up the table you are laughing.

I do like the idea of your Mortis Dread too, and if you like it run with what works!
