				<description><![CDATA[ OK, so with Adeptus Titanicus coming out all the talk of magnetising the Titans gave me what is quite possibly a completely mad idea - what about magnetising the Command Terminals and cards?<br /> <br /> Bear with me on this - I can use my printer to scan & print the Terminals and cards from the Rules Pack(purely for the sake of making them thin, I will be - and I would urge anyone who also decides to try - buying the actual Terminals & cards in whatever numbers I use them, I just won't actually use the ones I buy) both front & back, then the printouts can be used to sandwich a thin 0.4mm magnetic sheet, and small neodymium magnets can be placed inside the plastic counters, allowing them and the loadout cards to snap on to the Terminals and not shift around during play.<br /> <br /> The problem I have is with sealing them. I worry that trying to laminate the final construction - either in a machine or just using the pockets and an iron - will be high enough to hit the Curie temperature for the sheets and demagnetise them, defeating the whole point of the exercise; has anyone laminated things containing magnetic sheet before and can tell me for sure?<br /> <br /> Assuming it would be an issue, I looked at alternatives and found there are self-adhesive laminate sheets available which would work well enough for either of the main surfaces, but look like they would leave the edges unprotected - can anyone say for sure whether that's the case, and if so suggest an alternative way of doing that? If it was straight-up cardstock I'd consider just coating the edges in superglue, but the magnetic sheet won't absorb the glue and harden in the same way.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ If you're putting neodynium magnets in the plastic bits, wouldn't that just attract the steel in the magnet sheet, whether or not the sheet itself is magnetic?<br /> <br /> Edit because I'm slow thinking:<br /> For that matter, why not skip the flexi-sheet, and just glue printouts of the cards to a thin sheet steel sheet, especially if flexibility isn't a requirement?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Mod Podge would work, I know people who use it to seal stuff to about anything, just keep coating it on. <br /> <br /> Its like PVA by thicker and more resilient. If you print it, it could bleed the colors though. <br /> <br /> What if you laminated it then affixed it to the sheets / magnets?   ]]></description>

Behold my majestic Paint artistry: <br /> <br /> <img src="https://i.imgur.com/kgB9fWb.jpg" border="0" /><br /> <br /> If I use a thin laminate pocket on the front & back prints and sandwich a few thinner layers(probably 0.5mm each) between, all I'll have to seal up are the edges which you have to do on the cardstock stuff from the box anyway I assume. With the areas for the weapon cards, the top and bottom strips will be glued on with different polarities, then when I make the cards(same method but with only one 0.5mm layer sandwiched between), I can glue the back on "upside-down" so that when you flip it over to indicate a disabled weapon the magnets still work with it oriented properly. ]]></description>
