I usually prime in a light grey, but I noticed that GW's 'How to-' for Custodes uses a Black Primer, which is obviously just their standard primer. In the video, Duncan paints Retributor armour straight over the black basecoat. My question is, will Retributor armour take as well over a light Grey?

Most of their current videos have the model undercoated with Mechanicus Standard Grey and occasionally with Corax White.
