Arjac and the rune priest start out in the land raider excelsior with the 3 terminator squads in deepstrike. The LRE and Rhino Prime advance toward the enemy, while the Tempestus fan out backfield and hold points.
The LRE has the character keyword is the warlord with saga of the bear giving everyone in its (HUGE) bubble rr1's and 6+FNP. It also has the armor of Russ bosting it to a 2+/4++/6+++.
The LRE is +1 to hit as long as its within 24" of the Rhino prime, and the prime can grant an additional +1 to a unit within 12" (Either the LRE or an overcarging combi plasma terminator squad). The Priest gives the LRE, and everyone else, -1 to hit each turn.
When arjac jumps out, the other terminators come down. Your basic termie has a thunder hammer and 4 attacks (thanks to rockfist and the wolf stone) a 3++ for the squad and a 6+++. This can turn into 5 attacks if I use saga of the wulf instead, making them A5, 2+ to hit, s8, rerolling 1's (hit and wound). With 5/6 attacks on the wolf claw guys.
Thanks to the vague wording of keen senses the LRE can shoot it's collection of heavy weapons without any penalties (looking at you eldar) and as a character it can shoot an extra time when it dies. As an added bonus the tank can also benefit from chooser of the slain from the psy-wolf. Scions are mostly for CP, bonus plasma spam and holding the backfield.
