How to kill my bloodletter?

First time posting so forgive any noob mistakes.

I found a bunch of old bloodletter sprues lying around and have decided to sacrifice one of them upon the altar of my lord Sanguinius. I'm gonna model him as having just been slashed in the face by one of my Primaris lieutenants' power swords, and falling over.

My question is how to convert his stance from the standard one on the model to a sort of falling or recoiling stance, as well as how to model on a convincing injury.

Thanks,

-Danielle

photos? get yourself some decent blades, green stuff, milliput and scultping tools. for injuries, a good way to do blood splatter is to cut crust from the top of superglue bottles then paint with blood for the blood god or clear red.
