Suggestions for 'beginners videos' for the current edition of 40k?

So I'm trying to get back into the game... not just the miniatures aspect... but actually playing again... any suggestions on tutorial vids you've seen?

I've played during the tail end of 4th... a bunch during 5th... started dropping off with 6th... and can't even remember if I got into 7th (made a crap ton of lists though).

Like what vids have you checked out and seemed to work for you and others?

I used to listen to gaming podcasts a bunch but more in mind to see visuals now a days.

Just bear in mind Miniwargaming do get the rules wrong / confused at times - as do most playes from time to time I imagine. I know I am guilty of forgetting rules.

Tabletop Minions do some good vids but more from a collecting / general hobby tips point of view.

In 7th Edition Tabletop Tactics had a series on list building and a detailed approach to how to think about the game strategically called D.R.A.G.O.N.

They have just started their 8th edition version called S.A.C.R.E.D. but you will need to be a paying subscriber to get access. I have been a subscriber since before 8th edition started and for me it is totally worth it.

Tabletop Tactics.

Watching battles and you will learn. They are the best for me. Good in rules, nice armys and a lot of fun. I am spanish and I laught watching them.

About Miniwargamming just see the tutorial and go on to Tabletop Tactics.

Winters SEO is also very good. He has a fantastic narrative and espeaks very clean. Buuut, mostly the same armys. SM, Adeptus Mechanic, Death Guard.

Suggestions for 'beginners videos' for the current edition of 40k?

I’d recommend SS82(striking scorpion 82) vids, they play narrative battles, with great looking armies and terrain against mostly quality opponents, they also have in depth analysis vids.

I’m not a fan of tabletop tactics, he plays chumps with abusive army lists, at least back in 7th Ed; not entirely his fault if his opponents can’t bring a quality army, but I cannot watch a pre destined battle, army looks good from afar, a lil too much airbrushing for my taste though. Solid list building and tactic advice vids for tourney players.
