Airbrush problem

Alright, so... I've had my Iwata Eclipse HP-CS for a little over a year now. About a month ago I started having airflow issues with it. I cleaned it meticulously and still had problems. I bought a new nozzle, convinced that there was some kinda hardened junk inside mine that was causing the problem, but my issue persisted. I bought a new needle, still nothing. Took it to a local Iwata dealer who did maintenance and cleanup, he said my nozzle was good and that my airbrush looked fine. He did a test spray and it seemed to be alright. I took it home and... still had issues. I then bought a new airbrush, an Iwata Revolution, and right out of the box I'm having the same damn problem. I switched hoses and I'm still not getting a good spray.

My air compressor is a TC 908 Aspire. I've had it for about 3 years. It clicks on and off very often when I'm using it, which I discovered today from poking around the internet is not something it's supposed to do. It's done that for ages though, and I've only recently started having problems with airflow. I'll have the trigger pulled back and no paint is coming out, then suddenly it'll squirt out with the same gusto it used to. Then it'll jam again, and come back a few seconds later. Really obnoxious. I have no idea how to troubleshoot or diagnose my compressor, and my google fu isn't proving too helpful. Can anyone help me out? Or point me to somewhere I can get some suggestions?

I found this video when i was looking for something to refurb my old generic compressor which is similar to the one in the video and looks close enough to the badger one you have. You can probably skip the first few minutes which is just unboxing the compressor from ebay.

Difficult to tell from the post if you are having the same problems but the video should help if the valves need cleaning out.

Somehow, I forgot to lock down my pressure regulator the last time I adjusted my PSI, so I had an air leak - which also explains why the compressor was constantly turning on and off so quickly while working. After locking it, and tightening my air hose, not only was my Iwata Eclipse working fine but it's actually spraying better than the day I bought it. Thankfully I was able to return the Iwata Revolution to the hobby store.

Anyway, all is well again. Moral of the story I guess is to check for every stupid little issue you could possibly have before assuming the worst.
