So I'm looking at doing WW's Narrative Campaign in January. And I want to do Orks.

It's 100 PL, and I really, really want to do a Dredd Host. Stompa, Gorkanaut, Morkanaut, the rest spent liberally on Deff Dredds and Killa Kans.

Now, I'm at work, and my Codex is at home. What I'm looking for is pointers as to how I can best realise this list.

For instance Stompa. great model but utterly useless. Take it as a centerpiece model for this event if you want, you'll have fun using it. it won't likely make it's PL back.

Nobs tend to be real good in PL format due to the expense of their wargear.

It just sucks bad and takes up room from cool stuff that you would be able to use for longer. Do you want to haul stompa long way only to remove it before you even shoot with it if you go 2nd?

Cool model but dear god I'm struggling to figure how to justify it. 20k game in 6'x4' table? You would run out of deployment zone with regular stuff thus not being able to field them so...

I'm seriously considering hacking one of my two stompas into terrain piece...

Now gorkanaut and morkanaut are much better. One of them into evil sun for 8" charge, one either evil sun or whatever+ramming speed. Both out of deep strike. Biggest problem will be all won't be deep strike so some will be target practice for the enemy.
