Thousand Sons Kill Team Brainstorming

After finally finishing my Harlequin Kill Team I wanted to move on to a new project. I've decided I want to start a Thousand Sons Kill Team, and on top of that I want to learn about magnetising miniatures.

My idea was to attempt to build a Kill Team that would allow me to use every possible configuration. I don't know how feasible this might be, so I thought I'd come here to ask!

As far as I can tell, in terms of troops I would need:

1 Aspiring Sorcerer
5 Rubric Marines (one of which could be a gunner)
14 Tzaangors (one of which could be a Twistbray).

Beyond that, I believe I would need:

1 Bolt Pistol/1 inferno warpflame pistol
4 Warpflame
1 Soulreaper Cannon
5 Boltguns
14 sets Tzaangor blades
14 sets Chainswords + Autopistols
1 icon of flame
1 brayhorn

Having written all that down, it seems excessive. Eg. Would I ever use 14 Tzaangors with no upgrades? Probably not. Would I ever use 4 Warpflamer marines? Probably not (although it sounds hilariously fun!)

So I guess me other question would be where to draw the line? Probably 1 box of Rubrics and Tzaangors would be a good start, but where after that?

Looking forward to your thoughts.

The first thing that comes to my mind is to magnetise; it doesn't do much for your Tzaangors, but you could easily magnetise those Warpflamers.

Oh for sure I'm magnetising. Never done it, but it's a good chance to learn!

I was thinking more about to what extent should I magnetise to balance both in game relevance and modelling practicality.

Thousand Sons Kill Team Brainstorming

Just did some math on a list I like the sound of: 1 Aspiring Sorcerer, 1 Twistbray and 10 Tzaangors comes out to 99points. Any idea what the best way to get hold of that 11th Tzaangor would be? The second hand eBay market tends to not be that great out here in Canada.
