I am going for a Farsight Enclaves scheme (deep red/red if you aren't aware).

I have been watching and rewatching this tutorial...but am going to need to change up the colors (obviously).

What I am thinking is:
Black prime
P3 Sanguine base
P3 Sanguine + FW Daler-Rowney Red Ink on high spots
--big stencil (or medium on some suits)
P3 & Ink
--medium stencil (or small on some suits)
Pure ink
-- not sure about a wash....recommendations?

Do you think this would be a viable and fairly "easy" way to achieve the desired effect in a red paint family?

The alternative thought I had was
Black prime
P3 Sanguine Base
--stencil
Gradient with white from low spots to high
Gradient with red ink

Not sure if that would do the same? I don't think it would...but experienced opinions are welcome!
