To be fair I think it would need to be significantly hotter to actually melt cast resin. The heat might be enough to make it more pliable, but I don't think it will be melting down into a pile of liquid resin. I'm unsure about taking my paints as I'm not sure about them drying out too quickly? Now...in a trunk, out of sight, perhaps in a foam container you might escape some of the issues, but I'd strongly argue against it. Keep in mind your resin isn't going to melt into a puddle...but weapons, ankles, thin joints, wings, etc. could also possibly droop/fall over/become ruined.

If you have a normal house/apartment with any A/C at all it won't be an issue. Lived in Tucson most of my life and you not only have to worry about the resin but the plastics too. Even in the trunk/boot of the car. Best bet is to go from a to b with them in the vehicle and do not leave them in.
