Gaze of Fate nugget?

Hey guys i think i ran across a bit of a nugget concerning the ambiguity of the Gaze of Fate psychic power for chaos daemons on page 132. It reads "Gaze of Fate has a warp charge value of 6. If manifested, you can reroll a single dice roll later during your turn. The FAQ for this power says to change "single" to "one". But that's not what shocks me on this ability. Have i been sleeping on this guys? RAW (rules as written) this power allows me to even reroll one of my opponents dice later during my turn? What?!! I think this works because of a few reasons. It's not worded like other reroll abilities by saying "friendly" units or "your" die. The other thing, the core rule book doesnt specify that rerolls can only effect dice you roll. This seems very unique and very Tzeentch like as he does manipulate your opponents things from a fluff stand point. Or in this instance... Your opponents fate. Have you guys known all along that gaze of fate works this way and I'm just late to the barbeque?

That being the case,
you can only use the above-mentioned Stratagem to affect dice
rolls you make, and not those made by your opponent.

If it didn't have the explanatory paragraph, I would say you can use Gaze of Fate on the opponents dice, but the explanatory paragraph prevents this.

That would have been an awesome mechanic if the rule worked that way. Maybe not so much fun from a balance perspective but from a fluff perspective re-rolling an opponent's armor save would be sweet!
