The Girls of Catachan

A female squad of Catachans, plus a vehicle gunner in a couple of the shots, I made from Raging Heroes Jailbirds line. They came out pretty well overall.
First up is a side by side with the promo pic for one of the teams. As you can see I tried to make some features into functional parts of their gear, and added cloaks to two of them.

Secondly something of a condensed action scene. I have done some modest modifications by scrapping off a couple pointless straps and reducing the necklaces in a couple cases to be just simple dog-tags, I also added sights to most of the weapons.

The main squad lined up, plus a gunner I made. My landlord accidentilly flushed some of the bits for the gunner down the drain, so I improvised using extra pieces from the infantry squad, that why her pose is a little off:

A driver inside a vehicle with Anvil Industries parts replacing the original upper body/arms/head.

Some notes on Raging Heroes minis, they needed a lot of scrubbing to get off the resin coating, and needed some scrapping for the mold lines. Also one mini has a bit of the very upper part of her arm missing which I filled in with green stuff. Good sculpts with lots of detail, and the Coyote Crew came with plenty of extra bits (heads, arms, weapons) but they need a bit better quality control 4/5 stars. I saw someone use some of their bits with swapped out arms for a more muscular look, but with decent shading they look nicely muscular, and I'm using a couple of extra arms on another female mini for that appearance.

I have a few close-ups in my gallery. I use a running joke of the description as if they were being interviewed by something akin to Playboy Magazine (and run by someone named Cassius Dirkhammer) but these being hardened fighters the Q&A all comes out wrong.

https://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/images-124216-61657_Cassius%20Dirkhammer%20Presents%3A%20The%20Girls%20Of%20Catachan.html
