I hope you can all help me out here, I’m trying to write fluff for an Iron Hands Successor Chapter but I don’t quite understand the situation of the Clans. How many Clans are on Medusa? Is it only 10?

And is it possible to write up a Clan of my own? If so would that clan be the only clan that produced space marines for the Chapter? Or would I need more than 1?
