Kharadron custom scheme and some paint suggestions

Hello to all!

I've recently started collecting Kharadron Overlords and I am wanting to do a custom scheme! This is always exciting, but always makes me terribly nervous at the same time. I am red/green colorblind and have some trouble with color theory because of it. I'll be posting some pictures and then discussing the colors that I want to achieve and will be requesting assistance from you all using the Citadel line of paint in the base, wash, layer, highlight method. Now to the pictures!

Spoiler:

Above is an arkanaut using the Barak-Nar color scheme. I am wanting my scheme to use something similar to the dwarf blood bowl team as my primary color. This means that my overalls will be Sotek Green, Nuln Oil, and Temple Guard Blue. My steel/silver will be Leadbelcher, Nuln Oil, and Stormhost Silver. Those are the only two colors I'm sure about! This is where I would like your assistance.

For the leather, I am unsure if going with a more grey leather using dawnstone as a base color will work out. I don't want my steel details to be washed away with the grey, but I'm not sure the khaki color will look good either. I could go with more of a brown using Doombull Brown, and Tuskgor Fur. If anyone has any models with similar pallets, I would LOVE to see them.

The last bit is the gold/bronze. I've never been able to see the difference between gold and bronze on a model and I know that there are many different paints to achieve the colors. If anyone has any suggestions on what would look best with the above colors, I would love to hear them.

Spoiler:

For the ships, I plan to use the above paint swaps to achieve my paint scheme. I intend to keep using black for the bottoms of the boats and to act as a tertiary, and to use a Dawnstone based color to replace the khaki stripe along the side. I will be using Caledor Sky, Lothern Blue, and Baharroth Blue to do the portholes and any glass effects.

I appreciate any and all help that I get from all of you! I have an idea in my head for what I am going for, but I can't look at paints and get the combinations that I am wanting without a little help from my peers. Let me know what you all think! I want my little duardin to look as good as I can make them!
