The technicalities of technical paints

Hi everyone.

I've a question about the technical paints from GW and the effects paints from Vallejo.

Do you use them before or after the final matt coat?

I've been using a Matt coat after applying some of them for protection and the effects are still very good. But are they mainly designed to be applied after all sealing has taken place? What is best practice with these paints?

Thanks for any replies.

depends which one youre using. rusts and corrosion can be used before the clearcoat. bloods and slime should be used after.

this is a general rule, based on using a matte clearcoat (the best way imo) if youre using a gloss clearcoat, this might make rusts and the like look odd.
