I've a question about the technical paints from GW and the effects paints from Vallejo.

Do you use them before or after the final matt coat?

I've been using a Matt coat after applying some of them for protection and the effects are still very good. But are they mainly designed to be applied after all sealing has taken place? What is best practice with these paints?
