Hey,
Well first, there’s no “suppposed to” with the look. You can do them however you want them to look.
I for instance spray mine Death World Forest green and then work from there.

What final look do you want? Are you aiming at the on the box result? Or just a lighter look in general?

I’m sure many here can post up some great looking examples if you’d like ideas. But as to from where to go if already green, you can either put lighter colours over as it seems like you are trying, or you could put a green or brown shade over them, to give them a darker rotten green look.

You could also strip them in a Simple Green bath and start over.

Army Painter have a bone-coloured rattle-can, pretty sure GW still sell a white one (though I'm also pretty sure it'll be expensive).
Ah. Fair point.

Well, if you like the dark green base, you can build a lighter green on top and then an even lighter green highlight.

Or wash it with browns and purples and then work back up to the green.

Here's a link to someone painting them dark green and then washing with either Nuln Oil, Agrax Earthshade or Druchii Violet. https://www.dicesaloon.com/articles/how-to-paint-poxwalkers

Use a wash or shade as mentioned, then progressively apply layers of heavy drybrush of increasingly lighter tones. Add your bone to the green colour, adding more and more to lighten the tone. This will give you some nice depth.

You could also use a purple or dark red shade, which will work nicely with a green base.

What paints should i put on my poxwalkers that i sprayed green?

I use Athonian Camoshade and Agrax Earthshade.

One good thing about the Pox walkers, is would they all look uniform like Plague marines armour does? Not so much, so many variations in skin can really help.

With 40 of them, I’d be painting every repeat model differently..
Layer lighter greens over them (mixed as in an above post).
Then shade after, Athonian on them all, extra Agrax on 10, Nuln on 10, maybe Druchii Violet for the next 10, a s the last ones leave just the green wash.

The wash would tie the layers/dry brushing together for a dark and dirty look.
Or the other option is all the shading first, then to the dry brushing.
They give different results so depends what you prefer.
