It's more or less unneeded for 8th. The reference sheets for 7th filled 4 pages front and back and had to be very strategically laid out in order to be condensed that far. 8ths basic rules fit on the same number of pages in conversational speech and crap lay out. You could fit all of 8th onto a single small format page with the core rules and have room to spare. Then the issue becomes what house rules are you using? What terrain rules are you using? What extra rules from the add ons are you using?
