Are there any entities that would be considered a "death god"? If so, are there any organizations that worship such an entity? I was prompted to create this thread because I was recently reading a Warcraft encyclopedia page on Cult of the Damned, where the members are still living with their reward being that they would be raised from the dead. Don't know if these qualify.

Death Gods and Cults

I think others have already hit my main points.

* Nurgle sometimes promises escape from death at the cost of becoming a grotesque living corpse thing.

* Death cult assassins are literally a fieldable unit for the imperium.

* Ynnead is a god of death (and rebirth) and even has a playable avatar model.

If your emphasis is more on the ressurection angle, drukhari life insurance policies cover ressurrection.
