I have searched long and hard on this topic and have not seen any one doing a paint scheme around it nor could I find too much information on it.

The paint scheme shares alot of similarities with Leviathan but has no purple on the carapace and slightly darker skin tone. Even if the Imperium think a tendril was completely eradicated, it is entirely plausible they are wrong and something survived.
