Well, best case scenario for me is that we get some love in psykic awakening and we wont be just some minor footnote in someone elses book. I am talking chapter tactics for the different shield hosts, stratagems, relics etc and especially including sisters into custodes for proper talons with a hq other than aleya and strats for them aswell.

Worst case scenario is we get valerian and aleya and rules that we can include sisters of silence into our lists and thats it.

I won't get my hopes up that we will see any forgeworld models like the telemon with updated rules in an upcoming GW book for psykic awakening or otherwise. In a theoretical Codex: Talons of the Emperor? Not unless GW make a big change in policy.

Do I think we'll see Custodes material (and SoS material, for that matter) in whatever the new FW books are that the GW Design Studio are working on? Straight 7's homey: We get a psyker unit, or some form of psy abilitys that give us + to attacks, strength, or shooting. the most likely bet is that GW won't give custodes any new units. however we'll get talons of the emperor mods that allow us to take sisters of silence. most likely BTW this will be a form of seperate detachment bonus (so if we take just custodes we get a 4++ invul, if we take a "talons" force we get something differant)

FW units are never going to be part of codex. Custodes aren't special snowflakes who get that when others don't. Me thinks you don't know how Craps are played. Straight 7s is 4 7s in a row. Statistically impossible, ala GW getting their head out of their butt and giving Custodes some love other than a Sos gak model and an even shittier Shield captain model, that is statistically inferior to his counterparts. Custodes having access to a fast, open-topped skimmer would improve their standing quite a bit. They aren't a large squad army, and one of their major shortcomings is getting infantry to where they need to be and redeploying to enemy threats.
