I've just started collecting and building the space wolves. Before I start getting too far in and before I start painting I'd like to decide on the squad/pack I'd like to use. Is there any information or lore on these that I can read? Or is it simply just a case of picking which marking I think looks the best?

This is of more use for the colours than anything else for the type of pack that you are painting.
