The GSC humans have some cloth wrapped around their leg and their guns. I tryed to paint it leather, but it just looks weard. What is it? Is it a practical piece of clothing? You could also look at them as similar to WWI style Putty wraps, although you already said the leather style didn't help. My GSC are boxed and I can't seem to find any current picture. I also figured using the arm bandages for squad markings. Yellow in my case. Most GW GSC model exanples have the ragged parts of clothing in the cult colours. So it is not so hard to cobclude with.

How ever, the tape on the guns are probably not in that same colour. And doing the leggings in those colours turned out bad.

The only sources I have seen with such wrappings is Luke Skywalker and British WW2 grunts.
