Unfortunately, everything is going to change in a week with the new edition. Pretty much any advice you can get will be guesswork, as a lot of the points and rules are changing. If you can wait a few weeks, people will be able to give much better advice.

The best thing to do for now is to work on your basic units that you know you will definitely need to take.
