Common materials for terrain and basing

Hi guys!
I wanted to share and get some ideas for everyday items to use in terrain builds. I’m looking to make some terrain for my new gaming board. Some of the stuff I use the most in terrain builds are the following.

- Pine bark
- Cereal cardboard
- Pipe toys
- Granny grating and mosquito netting
- Bottles and boxes in interesting and “in scale” sizes
- Moss
- Lycan
- Square chicken wire for railings and ladders
- Bottle lids
- Cork sheets
- Regular dirt for ground coverage
- Warhaming tufts
- Cheap Paintbrush bridles for tall grass/weeds
- XPS for bricks, rocks and to build up ground that is going to be covered.
- Sculpt-a-mold
- Tile grout as texture for concrete buildings and fine earth/dirt
- March sticks, cocktail stirs and popsicle stick.
- Balsa wood for beams and wood planks.
- Hexagonal plasticard rods for nuts and bolts
- Green stuff world textures rolling pins
- Foam board
- Vallejo textures paste when I don’t have time to use pva and dirt method
- Dried roots and sticks.
- Aquarium plants

I’m sure there is a lot I’m missing, but this is the first that comes to mind. Is there anything you guys use regularly that I’m missing? First plan is to make buildings, ruins and scatter terrain.

Dense fibreboard for basing. It isn't exactly an everyday item but I find terrain is much more useful when it's got a sturdy, heavy base to make it hard to knock it around by accident.
