I have a big project, to list all the chapters of marine space appearing in the various GW publications:
-White dwar
-golden demon
-Codex ect...
The color scheme must be visible as well as the chapter icon.

There are in two white dwarf chapters of marine space represented but impossible to get my hands on:
if you can take a picture of these pages
it would help me enormously to complete my work :

That was nearly 20 years ago, so no? There was also a number of elevated chapters on the GW website around that time, too. The names may be accessible through the Wayback machine, but the vast majority of pictures from that era of the site are completely lost to time.

I have a question that haunts me. There is a book about the winners of the "Chapter Master competition" that came out in 2005. Are these chapters in considered "canon"?

Pretty sure we're talking about the same thing. They were featured in US White Dwarf #305 as it was a US competition in GW stores(IIRC, the US website also ran one). The Sons of Dorn also originated from the same competition and have featured in future canon, so yes, we can take the winners as "canon".

You should also get a hold of the rogue trader , warhammer 1st edition. They have a lot of odd things. At that time SM where more like local police (there is a cheesy picture of a SM aresting someone for graphety) later on being militery. Some of the chapters from that time disapeared, like the rainbow coloured marines.

You should also check out badab war. They had a lott of cool marines.

I would recomend that you source everything you get your hands on.
