40k September Meta Analysis: How Many Top Lists Each Unit or Faction Appears In

Charts: https://imgur.com/gallery/zMftELg

Video with Full Analysis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSREaUohjRc

I took the top lists from September GT's and Majors and tally up how many lists each unit or faction appears. This gives us an idea of what the top players are doing and if there are any trends developing. This data should be useful in predicting which armies and units are best and what to look out for if you go to any tournaments. There's lots of details in the video, but if you want to see the charts alone, I linked them above. If you want to see the full lists from the data set, check out the Best Coast Pairings app and Down Under Pairings.

Questions for Discussion:

How would you define balance in a codex? How would you measure that?

What meta data would help you the most when preparing for a tournament?
